The beta for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is live once again, and this time, it's now available for more PS4 players.

As an added bonus, the beta was updated to include a new monster: Nargacuga, who made its debut in Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.

The tricky part is that Nargacuga does not have its own quest. Instead, it appears as one of the roaming monsters in the Great Jagras quest, replacing either Anjanath or Rathalos. If the quest description for the Great Jagras quest says that the commission had "received reports of another mysterious monster" in the vicinity, then that means that Nargacuga will be roaming through this quest.

Once you get that alternate Great Jagras quest to show, you keep that quest in queue by abandoning the quest. If you clear the quest (slaying the Great Jagras) or if you run out of time, the quest is considered completed, and you have to roll again for another chance at Nargacuga. If you slay Nargacuga and then abandon the quest, you will then be able to redo the quest with the Nargacuga spawn. Rinse and repeat for as many times you want to fight Nargacuga.
