Experiment: If Mari equips two Buster Guns/Mavericks (one as main weapon; one as sub weapon), will she be able to use the Weapon Change/Dual Wield System to negate her weapon's "overheat" effect?

Keep an eye on both the Overheat Meter and on the icons at the lower right corner of the screen. When the "Weapon Change Cooldown" icon appears, the Overheat Meter resets, thus allowing you to continue shooting with your buster gun once more.
